The SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship identifies the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in the Dallas Metroplex area every year — and Fusion Packaging has been named one of the “Dallas 100” for the third consecutive year.

Fusion Packaging was chosen due to its growth, as well as its initiative, dedication, determination and entrepreneurial spirit.

Derek Harvey, Co-CEO Fusion Packaging, stated: “We are excited yet again, to be part of such a distinguished group…” said Derek Harvey, Co-CEO Fusion Packaging.

Harvey continued, “We are even more excited about where our organization is headed in the future. Providing the best products and services to our customers is what makes us a success in our industry and allows us to win prestigious awards such as this, but we know it’s our employees, our team, that makes us truly successful and we are humbled.”

Jerry White, event co-founder and director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU Cox School of Business, commented: “The unsung heroes of our economy are the entrepreneurs who build their own businesses and create jobs as fast as large companies eliminate them. While entrepreneurs are the engines of growth in our economy, they often go unrecognized. The Dallas 100 was created to correct this injustice.”

The winners are selected based on growth as a percentage of sales increase and dollar growth in the given period. These figures are calculated and confirmed by a top accounting firm in the Dallas area.
